Neighbors arrest an assailant at an ATM in Santiago de Cuba

A young resident in the area indicated that “two boys tried to assault a woman who was withdrawing money from the ATM.” According to his story, a man came to the defense of the victim "and was hit by one of them, fell to the ground unconscious and was taken to the Clinical Surgical Hospital."

After the incident, one of the alleged assailants “fled,” but “the local residents managed to capture one of them.”

"The alleged criminal was wearing a white pullover with the image of Che Guevara as shown in the photo, and is recognized by the neighbors, because he had previously been selling basic necessities that were deficient on the Cuban table," he said. Mayeta Labrada.
