A collapse in the facade of the Mártires del Corynthia teaching polyclinic in Vedado, Havana, occurred on Thursday, with no reports of injuries.
"A part of the façade facing the main entrance of the medical center collapsed due to the rains and the neglect of the infrastructure," a user named CubanoConfuso posted on the social media platform X.
"There were no injuries by sheer luck," said the person, pointing out that any of the many visitors to the site could have been hurt due to the regime's negligence.
Another collapse occurred in Havana this Wednesday, with no reports of injuries.
The partial collapse occurred in an unoccupied building in Centro Habana.
The building, located on Oquendo Street, between San Miguel and San Rafael, is the Arbos building, which suffered another collapse in February 2014 when its two upper floors crumbled, jeopardizing the structure of the seven-story property with 120 apartments.
In the province of Matanzas, an abandoned building also collapsed.
Residents of the area had previously warned about the possibility of the collapse of this building. The abandoned property was located in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood of the city's central district.
The three collapses occurred a week after intense rains in the western region of Cuba.
In Havana, initial reports indicated 26 total collapses and approximately 120,000 homes without electricity.
