The Electrical Union (UNE) announced blackouts for this Thursday during peak hours, when theDeficit in generation capacity will cause an impact of 282 MW, greater than the previous day.

on WednesdayService was affected for almost four hours, from 5:18 pm to 9:07 pm, with the maximum impact of 193 MW at 9:10 pm.

According to himpart from the UNE, this Thursday, at 7:00 am, the availability of the national electroenergy system (SEN) was 2168 MW and the demand was 1950 MW, so no impact on daytime hours is estimated.

Two units of the Santa Cruz and Felton thermoelectric plants are out of service due to a breakdown, and five blocks of the Santa Cruz, Nuevitas, Rente and Mariel CTE are under maintenance.

Also out of operation, in this case due to lack of fuel, are 27 distributed generation plants and the Regla plant, with 238 MW affected by this concept.

In addition, the limitations on thermal generation are 439 MW.

For peak hours, the entry of the Regla pond is estimated to be 66 MW and of distributed generation engines that are awaiting maintenance - their use is authorized with 144 MW. In addition, unit 4 of the Cienfuegos thermoelectric plant with 60 MW must be completed.

For those hours, an availability of 2,438 MW and a maximum demand of 2,650 MW is expected, for a deficit of 212 MW, so if the expected conditions are maintainedan impact of 282 MW is forecast.
