The American influencer Brigette Pheloung, better known on the social network TikTok as @ACQUIRED STYLE, shared her gastronomic experience at the Formula 1 GP in Miami this weekend.
The well-known tiktoker has 902.8K followers, is a fan of sporting events and assured that this tasting proposal was, in her opinion, very expensive.
Brigette assured that it is the most expensive menu she has ever seen. Among the gourmet dish options were Maine Lobster Rolls, served with lemon aioli and French fries for $280, and Chilled U-5 Prawns, served with mustard and cocktail sauce, for $290.
The menu also included international dishes such as Yellow Tuna Poke, which combined ginger, sweet sauce and wasabi for $170, and a soft drink with a mix of pink pineapple, watermelon, dragon fruit and rambutan for $190.
For those willing to spend even more, the option to add TOBICO CAVIAR was offered for an additional $400.
The event also served more affordable, but equally sophisticated dishes, such as the Empanada Duo and Steamed Buns, with prices ranging from $120 to $170. However, the most popular options among attendees included the F1 Poutine and the Carne Asada Nachos, which were priced at $210 and $180 respectively.
This ostentatious culinary offer unleashed a series of comments on social networks. One fan wryly questioned the high cost of the experience with, "Didn't you pay like $20k for your seat?"
Others discussed the perceived exclusivity of the event and the contrast between prices within the VIP club compared to more affordable areas in the city.
The menu of Formula 1 GP in Miami showed a clear division between those who can access by paying these prices in the VIP area and those who cannot afford such expensive pleasures at high-profile events in the city of the Sun.
