In a moving message by Mother's day, the activist Yamilka Lafita, better known as Lara Crofs On social media, he shared intimate reflections about his life and the challenge of moving forward in Cuba, despite the difficulties.

"I would like to be that girl who laughs, who her parents looked at with devotion, because she already knew how to put together her puzzles on her own when she was four years old," Lafita began, remembering the stories her mother used to tell her when she was a child.

The young woman confessed that she will remain in Cuba despite the adversities, and compared her struggle and that of many compatriots to an enormous puzzle.

Lara Crofs is known for her intense work in Cuba supporting helpless people by the State, such as the well-known case of the girl Amanda Lemus Ortiz. The activist has been detained on several occasions by the regime, when she denounced the arbitrariness of the government and the lack of freedoms on the island.

"I keep trying to make the pieces fit, in this enormous puzzle that has become a country, where I have decided to stay," he expressed with determination.

The Cuban reality has changed drastically in recent years. Having parental support goes beyond financial or emotional support. Many young people seek respect for their ideals, to face, without resentment, the fight for a better future.

"I don't know how proud my mother would be today, but I do have the absolute certainty and joy that I have my father's unconditional support," he said.

Although years have passed since her mother's death, Lafita still misses her and still cannot get used to her absence. The activist extended a congratulatory message to all Cuban mothers.

"Congratulations to all the mothers for existing, the Mother's Day should be every day", he pointed.
