That's how we saw a Cuban woman in the United States who has become viral on social media for her peculiar look at the supermarket.
The protagonist of this unusual image is a Cuban woman in the United States who shared a photo of her unique shopping outfit on her Instagram profile, where she identifies herself as Mabele Amelia Padilla Martínez.
While taking a bath, I remembered that I forgot to buy onions," wrote the Cuban woman as she shared the photo, sparking laughter among her followers, many of whom couldn't believe how she managed to go shopping. And indeed, she didn't go to the supermarket dressed in a towel...
Not everything is as it seems on social media, and the reality is that this Cuban woman from South Carolina was indeed wearing clothes under the towel.
In a video she posted on her Facebook profile, the woman explained that she was wearing a dress underneath and it was in the middle of the store that she put the towels on to take the photo.
"No, sirs, I took the two towels. I'm not crazy enough to go to the store in a towel. I put it on in the middle of the market. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy and asked if it was for Instagram. Everyone was laughing, in English, of course. And that's how I took the photo. It looks like I don't have clothes underneath. People were surprised and laughing, thinking I had nothing," she explained. An experiment she repeated to record people's reactions.
Coinciding with this joke by this Cuban woman, on social media there is also another viral photo of a woman in a towel in a supermarket. The image was posted by un_martitodurako8_live_oficial on Instagram, but it is unknown if it is also Mabele or not.
