The young singer Elioveliz Pérez, known as the "Cuban José José," reported on social media last Friday that some individuals are exploiting his popularity and the affection the public has for him to solicit money in his name.
"Be careful, as someone is impersonating me and asking for money to record a new song, which is false," Pérez warned on Facebook while reminding everyone of his official account and group.
"If you receive requests for profiles or pages asking for money, be cautious; I would never do that," emphasized the young musician, who recently confirmed his popularity by performing to a full house in Havana.
The talented young man took the opportunity to remind everyone of his official profile and group, but he also noted that there are other communities of "honest fans," though he warned to be careful about whom to follow.
Recently, young Pérez shared a video of his first concert on social media, held at the Lázaro Cárdenas theater and dedicated to Father's Day. The tickets sold out in just 14 hours.
Recently, the talented singer released his first ballad composed by Lenier Mesa, titled “Sufrí por amor,” along with a music video directed by Freddy Loons.
Pérez has earned the affection and admiration of the Cuban people, noted for his strong physical and vocal resemblance to the Prince of Romantic Song, the Mexican José José.
