Elioveliz Pérez, the Cuban "José José," has gained popularity among the Cuban audience for his gratitude towards his followers. This was recently demonstrated in a video shared on social media, where he is seen singing to a woman who, despite health issues, attended his concert and stayed until the end. In response, he offered her a private performance.
Pérez shared a touching video on Instagram where he is seen singing the song "Gavilán o paloma" to Yania, who expressed her gratitude with a kiss and a hug.
"On June 14, despite her delicate health condition, Yania found the strength to attend my concert and remained there until the end," Pérez said, referring to his first live performance in Havana, held at the Lázaro Cárdenas theater.
"When her family reached out to inform me about her situation, I didn't hesitate for a second to head over and visit her," said the young man who offered the concert for a ticket price of 60 pesos as a gesture of gratitude to the Cuban audience.
Yania, visibly excited, described the songs she received as "the most delightful."
In the video, a woman's voice can be heard saying that on the day of the surprise, Yania had been short of breath but had saved her strength in order to greet young Pérez.
In the comments section, many agreed that the artist, whose striking resemblance to the "prince of romantic song" is undeniable, not only possesses great vocal talent but also has a big heart.
Recently, Pérez announced his first tour in Mexico, an event that will undoubtedly mark a significant turning point in the emerging artistic career of the Cuban artist.
Through a special announcement posted on Facebook, the 22-year-old Cuban expressed that he is "excited to announce that I will soon be going on a national tour in Mexico."
