A Cuban driver reported the presence of loose animals on the road that leads from Cienfuegos to the town of Trinidad in Sancti Spiritus.

Along with the alert, the driver shared a photo in the Facebook group "BUS & TRUCK ACCIDENTS for more experience and fewer victims!", in which a cow is seen in the middle of the road.

The comments did not overlook the scene, which they described as traditional along that busy road in the central part of the country.

"Very normal on that road, always has been," said an internet user.

A user added that all the roads in Cuba are "a zoo of loose animals."

Another person stated, "It's always like this and nothing is done to solve it."

"Every day is the same and no one does anything despite the many accidents that have occurred, including loss of lives," argued another Internet user.

While another driver pointed out, recalling an incident he experienced recently, that he had to "work wonders" with his truck "to be able to dodge three cows or buffalo" at 5:00 a.m. before reaching Arimao (Manicaragua).

Reports of loose animals on the roads reflect the dangers that drivers and passengers face on the roads of Cuba, especially during nighttime and early morning hours when fog makes circulation difficult.

Last year, a loose cow on a highway in Guantanamo caused an accident that left two passengers of a Lada car injured.

While an accident for the same reason was also reported on the National Highway, in an area near the entrance to Havana, without loss of human lives.
