A truck loaded with merchandise overturned this Saturday on the central highway, at the height of the town of Gaspar in Camagüey.

Images of the incident show the overturned truck in the middle of the road.

A witness to the incident recounted that the vehicle was loaded with merchandise, soft drink crates, energy drinks, etc.

Apparently the driver only suffered a few scratches.

Several accidents have shocked Cuba in the last week.

On Friday, a girl died in a tragic incident on the eight-lane highway in Havana, where a car overturned and ended up catching fire.

Three other people, including a four-year-old child, died on Thursday night in a collision between a Yutong bus and a horse cart in Granma.

Two young Cubans who were riding a motorcycle also died in Cárdenas, Matanzas, when they crashed into a tree near the roundabout that borders the city cemetery. The accident occurred on Friday around 7:00 pm.
