VIRAL: The reaction of a store clerk in Cuba when a customer gives her a perfume.

"May kindness and solidarity also be part of our daily lives," pointed out the protagonist of such a beautiful gesture.

A Cuban identified as Damián García shared on social media the emotional reaction of a young saleswoman in a Foreign Currency (MLC) store in Havana when he gifted her a perfume that he had just bought.

The video shows the dialogue that Damián had with the young woman, who attended to him with great kindness and told him that she had just bought the last bottle of the Hypnotic Queen perfume.

When he mentioned that he wanted two, the saleswoman told him that there is a large perfumery at TRASVAL and that maybe he could find it there.

When he said to her "Here, this is for you," the young woman responded with an emotional: "no, no, no, how sad!"... and appeared very moved by the gift.

"May kindness and solidarity also be part of our daily lives... Your reaction was gratifying to me and awakened a sea of emotions within me, it was the most beautiful thing I have done in these days," wrote on Facebook the author of the emotional act that went viral on social media.

Since July 31, the video has accumulated more than 39,000 reactions and 1,500 comments.

Hundreds of comments have praised the gesture of Damián García as well as the good disposition and kind treatment of the young salesperson, something increasingly difficult to find in a country marked by discouragement and a lack of empathy in all areas of daily life.

Some identified the young woman who inspired the gift as "Melisa" -known as "Mely"-. The incident occurred at the TRD Juventud store in the Havana municipality of Marianao.

"Excellent. I know the girl and the place. She is spectacular and works in unbearable conditions. Always treating others very well. I wish many would do that. Thank you for showing support," declared one of hundreds of commenters.
