A Brightline train collided with a car in Broward, Florida, and so far the consequences of the accident are unknown, which occurred due to the negligence of the car driver, who was able to escape alive.
Images shared by the news site Only in Dade on Instagram showed the moment the train collided with the car.
In the video, you can see how the car is trapped between the barriers that prohibit access to the tracks, and the driver making gestures to the train conductor to stop, in a futile attempt to halt a high-speed train.
A vehicle dealership in Miami called Matthew Hicks added in the comments section that the vehicle was part of his agency.
"This is my car in the video. I think it's hilarious. I lent my truck, and it didn't turn out as I planned. No good deed goes unpunished," the man pointed out, arguing that the woman driving it told him that the bar went down and that the vehicle stopped, although he pointed out that he blamed it on a panic attack.
Other users criticized the fact with comments about the disrespect for traffic signals.
"Most people in Miami think that traffic signs are decorative," wrote one person.
On the social network X, a user said it was her first time using the Brightline service and she experienced that accident, showing the condition in which the car was left.
Since they began operating, several accidents involving high-speed trains have been reported in Florida.
A few days ago, a train from the same company struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Railroad Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida, reported 12 News.
In early June of this year, another collision occurred between a Brightline train and a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks in Broward County.
The car appeared to be stuck on the tracks in the Hollywood area, away from the crossing zone.
