A truck from Baracoa, Guantánamo, ended up on its roof on the Central Highway, at the exit from Las Tunas towards Camagüey.
The incident occurred on Thursday and did not result in any fatalities or injuries, only material damage.
The internet user Yainier Fernando Machado Acosta, a member of the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES por más experiencia y menos víctimas!", shared photos of the vehicle and pointed out that the pavement was wet.
Other members of the group criticized the driver and assured that besides the wet road, he must have been speeding.
"Wet pavement and high speeds, because that's not an excuse to flip over and land on the roof," stated a self-employed individual.
"The 10 wheels to get out are more difficult; if you drive, you have to be ready for that, zero conversation, zero cell phone, in short, zero distraction. Your livelihood is driving, so pay the proper attention and seriousness. Thank God the crew is fine but now without work," commented a Habanero.
"One with 10 wheels and modern, for why there is a blockage, lack of experience, not enough attention to the vehicle," criticized another.
"I passed by there and spoke with the drivers, and they say it was a bus that blocked them on the road," specified a taxi driver.
Last Sunday, a truck had a terrible traffic accident in the municipality of Jiguaní, Granma, which left the driver with minor injuries, despite the significant impact the vehicle experienced.
User Luis Manuel Figueredo Mojena shared images in the Facebook group "Accidentes Buses & Camiones". The truck, with the driver inside, rolled over several times, traveling between 20 and 50 meters out of control.
The incident occurred on a rural road in the region. The vehicle was overturned on the vegetation near the road, the cabin was completely wrecked, and parts of the engine and other components were scattered on the ground.
In August, a cargo truck overturned on the road that connects Santa Clara with Sagua la Grande, in Villa Clara.
Images shared on Facebook showed a Soviet-made ZIL truck overturned on the side of the road. Apparently, in the cargo compartment, the truck was carrying some tanks for liquids.
The author of the post stated that the driver had not suffered serious injuries.
