A Cuban from Port Charlotte, Florida, has sparked debate on TikTok by commenting on a video that it's possible to become a millionaire in small towns in the United States with a good business idea. According to the user @m_a_r_i_l_e_y, in towns like Port Charlotte, many areas are untouched for entrepreneurship, providing great opportunities for those who arrive with an entrepreneurial mindset.
The Cuban highlights a specific example: the opening of the first Cuban pizzeria in the city, something that didn't exist until now. "There are quite a few Hispanics here, and they were so smart that they rented next to the only Hispanic market that never stops; it’s always crowded," she comments in her video, showing the businesses.
In his opinion, this type of business has great potential in these growing cities, where the market is not saturated and there is a Hispanic audience.
"When you arrive in a city like this that is untouched, you can start any business and it can go very well for you," says the Cuban, who seems optimistic about the future of the Cuban pizzeria. "We'll see the quality, but they will surely do very well," she adds, while showing images of the crowded Hispanic market near the new location.
His video has sparked supportive and skeptical comments, but it certainly invites reflection on entrepreneurship opportunities in areas that have not yet been commercially exploited.
