An urgent call has been made on social media to identify a young man who was taken to the Saturnino Lora Provincial Hospital in Santiago de Cuba after being stabbed early this morning.
The information, shared by journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada on the social network Facebook, requests help to identify the injured person, who did not have identification at the time of admission and is receiving medical attention.
Anyone who recognizes him or knows his relatives is asked to inform them immediately and to privately contact the individuals responsible for the publication to provide more information, stated activist Mayeta.
In the same province, a 28-year-old young man identified as Raciel Palacios and residing in Reparto Altamira was stabbed on Tuesday night near a bus stop in that locality.
A couple of days ago, neighbors from a neighborhood in the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara, deeply mourned the passing, last Saturday, of Maxi Juviel, known as "El Quema'o," emphasizing the need for peace in the community.
The deceased was a resident of the José Martí neighborhood in the city of Santa Clara and lost his life after having a machete fight with another person.
In another case that reflects the prevailing violence on the island, neighbors from the municipality of Cruces, in Cienfuegos, rescued a man who was stabbed in the middle of the street on Saturday night during a blackout.
