Dominican reacts to the experience of a young Cuban in Punta Cana

A Dominican reacted mockingly to the bad experience of a Cuban tourist who claims he was scammed in Punta Cana.

The internet user Arias, who has thousands of followers on TikTok, shared on his account the testimony of a young man who felt disappointed by what he experienced in the famous resort.

In the video, which recently went viral, the Cuban recounts how, just upon arriving at Saona beach with his wife and a couple of friends, a man supposedly impressed by his musculature approached him, and before he had time to react, placed a parrot on his shoulder and took several photos.

Seconds later, the same thing happened to him with another man who took his picture with an iguana and with a woman who had a monkey.

When the tourist, convinced of the supposed success he had with the local population, kept walking, another individual approached him asking for money for the photographs he had taken: 30 dollars for the ones with the parrot (each), 60 for those with the iguana, and 80 for those with the monkey.

"You have filled me with animals. I just got off the motorcycle and they threw a parrot and an iguana at me. What is this?" protested the visitor.

After much discussion, he agreed to pay only for two photos with the parrot, about 40 or 60 dollars.

"And then, every time I bought something else, they would say to me: 'give me 10 more dollars for the school kids.' And I would say: 'but who are those kids, what schools? What you buy is 15 more dollars for the school kids,' he denounced."

Although the TikToker Arias is constantly laughing at what the Cuban is narrating, many people in the comments section assert that the events are true, and there are many who have had the same experience.

"And those who make little braids and those who sell stones with carved sticks," said a user.

"I was told it was 50 for the photo, and I told them to delete all of them for 50; in the end, I gave them 10," another one recalled.

"Those people are the kings of scams, my brother. They filled my wife's neck with bottles of mamá Juana to the point where she couldn't even walk because of the weight, they wanted to charge me 120 dollars for a pile of roots," detailed another.
