In one of her recent TikTok videos, @atrevetebyrosy responded to a follower's question asking for details about how much she spent on her last trip to Cuba, especially on medicines, food, and hygiene products. Although she couldn't provide an exact figure for everything, she was clear about the money spent on medications: “I had a budget of 50 to 60 dollars a month for that,” she explained. She said she had been buying since October until almost the day of her flight, totaling between 480 and 500 dollars just on medicines. “I took a full suitcase weighing 50 pounds,” she detailed, with items like “antibiotics, aspirin, acetaminophen, and burn products.”
Regarding food, Rosy admitted that it was more complicated to calculate, as she was buying little by little and taking advantage of offers. “Every time there were specials, I tried to buy,” she commented. She mentioned that she was able to get chocolates, candies, and other products at discounts, even out of season, and that the children in Cuba don't pay attention to whether the wrappers have “a little bunny or a pumpkin; what matters to them is what's inside,” she joked.
The video generated many questions among her followers. Some wanted to know if diapers can be brought along with medicines and hygiene products, to which Rosy replied yes. Another user commented, "I went to Cuba unexpectedly and spent 4 thousand dollars just on tickets and what I brought, which was only medicine and hygiene products," while others requested more details about the new luggage regulations. Rosy committed to staying informed to keep her community updated on everything.
