A desperate Cuban mother turned to social media this Wednesday to seek help in the search for her 20-year-old daughter who has gone missing in Havana.

In a Facebook post, Aliusky Navas Sardina expressed her distress: "I need the help of everyone on Facebook and my friends. I want to make a report: my daughter is missing, I need you to help me find her. Her name is Milena, she lives in Centro Habana and is 20 years old."

"I'm desperate, I want to know her whereabouts," said the mother, visibly affected, and made an urgent call to anyone who can provide information about her daughter's whereabouts, giving the contact numbers of her grandfather to receive any news: 52002145 and 78621597.

In the comments section, several people have reported seeing the young woman.

Michel Rodríguez Izaguirre noted that on Sunday he traveled from Havana to Camagüey “and she took that same bus. She was with a boy.”

Similarly, Pedro Javier Castillo Torres mentioned that he saw her this Tuesday and "she is fine."

Navas, the mother of the young woman reported missing, also commented: "She has her behavior now, what is needed is for her to appear safe and sound."

Later, the distressed mother made another post identifying the person who allegedly took her daughter: "The last time he was seen was in Ciego de Ávila, he has no money, please help me, this is an SOS, you could be in danger, my daughter, her name is Milena, help my girl for the love of God."

Along with her request, she shared an image of Yuniel Rafael Reyes Meriño, who she claims is the man who was seen with her daughter.

Reports of disappearances of people, both inside and outside of Cuba, frequently circulate on social media.

Family and friends, due to the inaction of the government, place their hopes in desperate announcements to obtain information that will help locate their loved ones.

A 14-year-old Cuban teenager, identified as Alyssa Mariela González Velázquez, has been missing since Sunday night, when she left her home in West Miami shortly after seven in the evening.

The family of the minor, who recently arrived from Cuba, is distressed, as they claim that the teenager had never left her home unexpectedly.

Relatives of an elderly man suffering from dementia reported his disappearance in Havana for more than 48 hours.

In several posts shared on social media in recent hours, her daughter Ivonne Vila Martínez requested help to locate the gentleman, a resident of the Cerro municipality.
