A Cuban woman with an intellectual disability residing in Jatibonico, Sancti Spíritus, has been missing from her home for over a month, and her family has turned to social media to try to find her.
Her foster sister Viviana Reyes shared photos in the Facebook group "REVOLICO SANCTI SPIRITUS Y SUS ALREDEDORES," along with a phone number that can be called if anyone has any information.
"Please, whoever sees her, call me right away. She has been missing for a month and we have no news about her; she is from Jatibonico. My number is 58921461," she stated.
A neighbor wrote toCiberCubarequesting the disclosure of the case.
“She is from Arroyo Blanco Jatibonico. My neighbor, she has mild intellectual disability,” he noted.
The first report on the Internet is from October 24th.
"She has been missing since October 16, has a mental disability, and does not know how to return home," wrote Viviana Reyes at the time.
As explained in the comments section, this is not the first time it has been lost.
"About a year ago she did it, and I found her doing the same, posting it on social media. She was in Chambas, but now I've been told that she went to Sancti Spíritus," she clarified.
This week, CiberCuba reported on another disappearance, that of Claudia Cárdenas from Ciego de Ávila, who has been missing for over three months despite her family's search efforts.
Claudia, 27 years old, has a mental disability that causes her to behave like a small child. She is a non-aggressive and extremely affectionate person. She disappeared on August 7, when she left her home in the town of San Rafael, in Baraguá.
