A drawing of the late Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger went viral on Facebook; although the intention was good, the resemblance to the artist wasn't fully achieved.

The drawing sparked hundreds of comments, most of them critical because it does not resemble the singer's face.

"Such a beautiful drawing; you truly have great talent. The only little detail that was missing was resemblance to El Taiger, but everything else is lovely." "The most beautiful thing about El Taiger was his eyes, and in this painting, he looks like a Chinese person with one eye more open than the other. We appreciate your tribute, but you need to keep practicing, and I suggest you don't publish until the painting turns out well." "The only thing that was missing from the drawing was that it looked like El Taiger." "He tried, but José Manuel, all of his features were and are different. Thank you, but you should use a better image; that's someone else. Please keep trying." "The Che in delivery mode, because he has nothing of El Taiger," some wrote.

Nevertheless, some agreed that what truly matters is the intention and the tribute, and they advised the artist to continue honing their craft: “What counts is the feeling. Blessings to you”; “What a way to criticize, the drawing is well done, blessings to you, those who criticize don’t know how to do it”; “Well done, he deserves everything, wherever he is. Justice for El Taiger”; “Don’t give up, keep trying until you get it right, blessings. With passion and interest, anything can be achieved”; “Don’t listen to those who only make malicious criticisms. Creating that kind of art requires a lot of talent, and you already have it. Now you need practice and discipline, which depends on you and how you want to see the world. If you take the negative comments to heart, you can improve your mistakes.”

Following the death of the Cuban reggaeton artist on October 10, many of his fans and fellow artists have tattooed the initials LMBA and even his face as a tribute.
