Jorge Junior clarifies new details about the inheritance proceedings of El Taiger

Jorge Junior clarifies details about El Taiger's inheritance in Miami. He emphasizes the need for DNA tests to determine beneficiaries, which has sparked criticism and divided opinions.

Cuban reggaetoner Jorge Junior, cousin of El Taiger and legal representative of the family to manage the inheritance matters of the late artist in Miami, clarified some details about the progress of the process during a live broadcast this Sunday.

He explained that inheritances are very delicate processes in the United States, where a significant amount of documentary evidence is required to determine who the beneficiaries will be. In this case, there is the added complexity that El Taiger did not leave a will. The beneficiaries should be the singer's children.

Jorge Junior has faced a lot of criticism on social media from fans of El Taiger for saying a few days ago that the mothers of the reggaeton artist's children will need to present DNA evidence to claim their inheritance.

In this regard, he stated: "I didn't request a DNA test; it's something mandatory in these cases. I didn't ask for it! There are two children who do not have my cousin's last name," said the director of the group Los 4.

He referred to a third case, about which he did not want to provide details, but indicated that El Taiger acknowledged paternity so that the baby could have all the necessary documents in order.

Some people accuse Jorge Junior of wanting to control El Taiger's inheritance. In this regard, the musician stated that he is not interested in being at the center of that dilemma, as he has his own business to focus on in music.

He said that the only reason he took on the role of representing the family in the proceedings following El Taiger's death in Miami is because of the affection he has for José Manuel Carvajal, his cousin.

"I have my own. Why should I take away anything he left for his children? That's not how it works. I have my job, I have my own," said Jorge Junior, who is currently on tour in Peru with his group.

A few weeks ago, Jorge Junior had announced that he would personally cover the costs of these DNA tests, arguing that the measure would help ensure that El Taiger's children receive what is rightfully theirs.

The situation, however, has sparked various reactions, dividing opinions between those who support the decision as a measure of transparency and those who deem it unnecessary at such a delicate time for the family.

Jorge Junior took advantage of the live broadcast this Sunday to urge the mothers of El Taiger's children to play a leading role in the trial that will take place in Miami against Damián Valdez, the murderer of José Manuel Carbajal.

"The most important thing right now is that justice is served in my cousin's case. Everything else will come in due time to those it concerns," said Jorge Junior.
