President Donald Trump celebrated the results of a poll that shows a significant increase in his approval rating.

"Excellent numbers in the polls for Trump!" he said on his platform Truth Social.

In another post, he added a link to the complete data from the survey conducted by the online news agency InsiderAdvantage between June 15 and 16.

According to the survey, which consulted 1,000 potential voters with a margin of error of ±3.09%, 55% of respondents approve of Trump's performance as president, while 44% disapprove. Only 1% expressed uncertainty or no opinion.

The pollster Matt Towery from InsiderAdvantage stated that the results consolidate a trend observed in previous cycles.

"Trump enjoys a positive rating among all age groups, except among those over 65," he noted.

Towery added that the survey reflects a shift among undecided voters, who represented a higher proportion in previous polls.

By political affiliation, support for Trump was distributed as follows: 87.5% of Republicans, 24.2% of Democrats, and 46.4% of independents said they approved of his administration.

By age group, the strongest support comes from those aged 18 to 39 (61.4%), followed by those aged 40 to 64 (54.3%), and finally, those over 65 (37.9%).

The survey also included questions about foreign policy.

A strong 74.4% of respondents agreed with Trump's position to use any means necessary to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Only 22.9% opposed it, while 2.7% remained undecided.

Despite Trump's enthusiasm, other polls reveal a more mixed picture.

The latest poll from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, shared by The New York Times, shows a higher disapproval rating and a decline in support for legislative proposals promoted by the former president.

In particular, the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," his flagship project, received less than 30% national support, with only 67% of Republicans backing it.

In April, just a few days shy of completing the first 100 days of his second term, the American president was facing a complicated situation marked by high levels of disapproval.

A survey by NBC News Stay Tuned, conducted by SurveyMonkey among 19,682 adults, revealed that just over 4 out of 10 Americans strongly disapproved of Trump's performance, while only about a quarter expressed enthusiastic approval.

Furthermore, negative emotions toward him, such as "angry" and "furious," far outweighed positive ones like "happy" or "excited."

Trump was unable to achieve a majority of support on any of the political issues evaluated. On immigration, the public showed divided opinions, with 49% approval and 51% disapproval.

His economic management, focused on the imposition of tariffs, received the worst ratings. Only 39% approved of his handling of trade and tariffs, while 61% disapproved.

Similarly, regarding issues of inflation and cost of living, only 40% of respondents rated their performance positively.
