The user Dailis Donatien, a follower of the Facebook channel #MiguelNoticias, was the one who publicly alerted about the situation.
"Her name is Yaritza Mora, we are attending to her now. She is at Beneficencia and 13 Norte, says she is from Costa Rica. Please, she has been missing since last night at 12. Call 56630554," he wrote in a message directed to the community.
He reported that he was keeping the woman safe to prevent her from remaining disoriented in the area while he urgently sought help to contact her relatives.
Hours later, another neighbor, Yay Fdez Castellanos, confirmed that the young woman was finally picked up by her relatives. “She has been picked up; the neighbors claim it was by her family. The provincial prevention group was activated as well, but to our relief, her relatives came for her,” she commented.
