Not even two days were needed for Pollito Tropical to light up the house. The Cuban influencer, whose real name is Randy Álvarez, arrived with his usual charisma at La Casa de Alofoke, but soon found himself in his first clash with none other than Santiago Matías (Alofoke), the producer and host of the famous Dominican reality show.
It all began with a comment that seemed innocent: Pollito mentioned that the winner of the previous edition, the influencer Darileidy Concepción (Crusita), had won “by playing the victim.” But that phrase was enough to create a tense atmosphere and set social media on fire.
“What do you want me to do, fight with people? I came here to give my essence,” Pollito said, visibly upset, during the exchange with Alofoke. The video of the moment went viral within hours and has already surpassed 1.5 million views on his Instagram account.
Alofoke did not hold back and confronted the Cuban for allegedly wanting to follow the same strategy as Crusita. But Pollito strongly denied it: "That's not true. I said I heard that Crusita won that way, but I never said I was going to do it," he responded in his straightforward style, without mincing words.
For those who don't remember, Crusita won the first season with 203,080 points, a million Dominican pesos, a brand-new Mercedes-Benz, and even an extra bonus for winning an educational contest within the show. Her victory remains a topic of conversation among the show's fans.
With this freshly baked controversy, Pollito Tropical makes it clear that he didn't enter La Casa de Alofoke to go unnoticed. If there's one thing Cubans know how to do, it's shine with their authenticity, energy, and that touch of drama that so captivates their audience. And it seems this is just the beginning.
