A soldier of the United States Army of Cuban origin spread a message addressed to the Venezuelan people, urging calm and trust in the political moment the country is experiencing, while expressing his belief that decisive changes are approaching for Venezuela and the region.
In a video circulating on X, the young soldier spoke directly to the Venezuelans with a tone emphasizing calmness and patience.
"The message is simple: remain calm. Calmness and trust in this process," he expressed multiple times, emphasizing that, in his view, "key times are approaching for Venezuela" and also for "all of Latin America."
During his speech, the soldier stated that, from his perspective, the situation in the South American country is at a defining stage.
"Key times are practically ahead for Venezuela, key times for all of Latin America, but especially for Venezuela; they have freedom right around the corner," he said, using a recurring expression throughout his message.
He also made direct references to the Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, stating that "his days are practically numbered."
"He only has two options, and they will be prison or lead; that’s all Maduro has, OK?" he emphasized.
In the video, the military official stated that the dictator faces only two possible outcomes, which he mentioned explicitly, insisting that the end of his regime is near.
The soldier also spoke about his personal desire to participate, should he be ordered, in a possible mission related to Venezuela.
He pointed out that, although he does not yet have information about a possible deployment of his unit, he would like his company to be sent.
"In my case, what I truly desire is what I desire," he stated, making it clear that his motivation has a personal and emotional component.
He explained that he was born in Cuba and that there is a special connection between the situation in Venezuela and the reality of the Island.
According to what he stated, helping the people of Venezuela and contributing to the downfall of what he described as a dictatorship would have an indirect effect on the Cuban people, which reinforces his commitment and determination.
"By helping the people of Venezuela and working to bring down that dictatorship, I am indirectly also helping the people of Cuba," he stated.
Throughout the message, the military official emphasized the importance of conveying calm, assuring that he would remain vigilant regarding events and how the situation develops.
"I'll be posting little videos from time to time about how things are going," he announced.
The message concluded with a repeated call for faith and trust. The soldier once again evoked the image of imminent freedom and urged Venezuelans not to lose hope.
"You have freedom just around the corner, so have faith in this, okay? Have faith," he expressed.
