Note:
A delicious dessert with a different twist from our chef. Enjoy!!
Ingredients:
  • 6 oranges
  • Orange pulp made with the peels.
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 packs of custard or 6 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 4 cups of whole milk (or whatever the package indicates)
  • sugar to make a caramel for decoration
Instructions:
Cut the oranges in half, remove the pulp, and keep the shells to later fill them with the custard. Clean the orange peels, cut them into small pieces, and set them aside to integrate them later into the custard. Dilute the custard (or the cornstarch) in two cups of milk and bring it to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. When it starts to boil, add the remaining milk and the cup of sugar. Cook over medium heat until it thickens. Remove the custard from the heat, add the chopped peels, and mix well. Fill the orange tops with the custard and cover them with a bit of caramel. Enjoy!!
