If you're thinking of a delicious, quick, and super tasty meal, check out this recipe for Potatoes with Chorizo or Spicy Potatoes. Potato is one of the most versatile tubers in the kitchen. It is consumed worldwide, and there are more than 5,000 varieties across the globe. Additionally, it was the first vegetable to be grown in space. Potatoes are native to America, specifically from the Andes Mountains, where they have been cultivated for over 10,000 years. In Cuba, they have recently been difficult to find, but for many decades they have been the staple food that has sustained households. Chorizo makes a perfect combination with potatoes. This recipe is very high in calories, but it's worth it and won't leave anyone indifferent at home.

Cover this preparation with water, cover it, and let it cook over medium heat until the broth reduces and the potatoes are tender.

Before finishing, check the salt level. Some people do not add salt to this recipe because chorizo tends to have a very intense flavor.

This dish is served hot. To present it, I recommend sprinkling a little oregano and adding a drizzle of olive oil.
