Ingredients:
1 pound of okra
2 or 3 ripe plantains
1 tablespoon of oil
½ pound of chicken
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 cloves of garlic
½ cup of tomato sauce
2 tablespoons of vinegar
¼ cup of chicken broth
½ cup of dry wine
3 cups of water
3 limes
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat the oil and brown the chicken with the onion, pepper, and crushed garlic. Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce, vinegar, broth, and dry wine. When the chicken is cooked, add the okra cut into rounds with the water and lemon juice. Leave everything on the fire until the okra softens. Add the boiled or first-fried plantains (like for tostones), reduced to puree, and in balls to which garlic can be added.
