Ingredients:
1 2½-pound chicken
¼ lb. of butter
½ lb. small onions
2 carrots
1½ lb. of potatoes
¼ lb. of ham
¼ lb. bacon
1 cup of white wine
1½ cup broth
1 can of petit pois
Instructions:
Cut the chicken into quarters and season with salt and pepper. Sauté in butter until golden brown. Add the diced ham and bacon, as well as the carrots and halved onions. After sautéing it for a while, add the wine and broth, covering it so that it cooks over low heat until the chicken softens and remains in a sauce.
Add the petit pois and the chips cut into balls, which after boiling them separately are lightly browned in butter.
