Avilanian Adonis García returned to the Mexican Baseball League (LMB), this time with the Tijuana Toros.

García, 34 years old, and with three seasons of experience in the Major Leagues, began 2019 with the Red Devils of Mexico, but a poor offensive performance, in addition to an injury, led him to be released.

José Adolis' brother hit .240, two home runs and nine RBIs with the Devils and they did not hesitate to fire him.

However, he has obtained a second opportunity in the Aztec circuit with a competitive team like the Toros and that seeks to win the championship.

Adonis, one of the mainstays of the Navegantes del Magallanes in Venezuelan winter baseball, averaged .222 (two hits in nine at-bats) during his first three games.

García hit .339 and eight home runs in 2018 with the LG Twins in the Korean Professional League, but some injuries have kept him from his best athletic form.
