A video showing a violent police arrest in Cuba is circulating on social networks, where it has aroused indignation and anger among Internet users.

The popular Cuban actor and presenter Alexis Valdés shared the recording on his Instagram account.

"For those who still deny that there is police brutality in Cuba. Someday the people will lynch one of those abusive police officers and it will be the government's fault that prevents them from doing so. What a shame!" expressed the artist.

In the video, three police officers are seen on a street in Havana violently holding a young man, whom they hold against the wall of a house, between orders and bad words.

Despite having him reduced, and after the arrival of another agent, one of them hits the detainee twice in the stomach, leaving him no chance to defend himself.

Upon hearing the protests of the neighbors telling him not to hit him, the beating police officer turns and attacks another young man, who manages to escape.

On his Twitter account, the user identified as Engineer released the video.

"The 5th best police in the world", he pointed.

The brutality with which the agents acted has caused irritation among Internet users.

"That's collective cuteness, when they walk alone they are little lambs"; "How angry they make me, it's to take them all and kill them in cold blood" and "To take them and beat those defunded people to death, how helpless that gives me," were several of the comments.

Some referred to how the police fail in their duty to protect the people.

"How much helplessness, and what is most annoying is seeing how they abuse their power to intimidate and beat them while they enjoy it. Without remembering at that moment that they are not superior to those people they are beating, because it is no less It's true how miserable the police are," said a Cuban.

"Seriously, I don't understand how you can be so oppressive towards your own people, that a blue uniform makes you forget your values as a man and as a Cuban, that you are incapable of protecting your people, that for a measly 5,000 or 7,000 years you trample on years of fight to be free," questioned another.

"Those who know history and know about the fall of the USSR, know for a fact that we are following in all their footsteps, and the abuse of power by the authorities was one of the last links. The end is near, gentlemen, unfortunately it is still going to happen. get even worse," stressed a young doctor.

The brutality with which the police act in Cuba was evident during and after the July 11 protests, when numerous peaceful protesters were arrested with excessive and unjustified violence.

At the end of August, the video of the arrest of a young woman from the Santiago municipality of Contramaestre by several police officers was released.

As the video shows, an officer carried out the arrest of the young woman in her own home, through force. The rest of the officers, allmen, held her down while the policewoman violently pulled her hair.

All of this happened despite the fact that the girl did not offer resistance and even raised her arms as a sign of cooperation when the police approached.
