The Cuban singerCandide Fabré, who gave a concert this May Day in Las Tunas, responded to those who criticized him for charging the provincial government for his performance, and he did so by saying that he is worth "millions" and defining himself as the only one left in Cuban popular music.that, no matter what happens, "he is one of those who does not give up and does not give up."

“If we were talking about money, Cándido's presence not here, in the world, is worth millions, because I am me, exclusive. It's not speculation, people know that."Fabré said in a brief live broadcast prior to the concert in which he stuck out his chest, although he did not give clues as to who criticized the conditions of his presentation.

“Listen, if there is someone who does not need to have the Cuban flag in his hand, his name is Cándido Fabré. “I take it here, where it needs to be taken,” he said, placing his hand over his heart.

“Now I want to tell some of you, stupid people, idiots, who are speculating that Fabré charges I don't know how much to Las Tunas, listen, do you know why I don't put a price on my talent? Because what is mine has no price, what is mine has value and I know how to value.”, he questioned at another time.

"If Las Tunas decided to pay me for my concert, don't I deserve it? Yes, I deserve it," he added; and he made reference to "people who simply do not have popular acceptance", of whom he said that it is not their fault if they are not hired in Las Tunas, Santiago or Havana.

"The people love me, but this country is confident that no matter how vociferous there are out there...here the only one left in Cuban popular music who truly, no matter what happens, no matter how this country is, is of those who do not give up and do not give up,It is this horse that is here, that is why I am, that is why they call me, because they know that I am the first and that mine is not speculation"he concluded.

Fabré gave his concert this Sunday in the vicinity of the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Vicente García, where it became the highlight of the cultural offers reserved by the Provincial Directorate of the sector in that territory for the day of Workers' Day.

In a speech prior to the concert, he once again made clear his political affiliation, very close to the regime. "Come on Cubans, come on, we'll get out of this" and "No one gives up here."

"Know that as long as there is a singer of the country, the people and the revolution like candid Fabré, the eternal image and presence of our beloved Commander will be alive," said the musician before shouting "Homeland or Death, We will win!"

In April of last year,Fabré premiered "I am from Homeland or Death", a response song to the popular song "Patria y Vida", although the improviser from Santiago admitted during an interview on the radio program "Chapeando", hosted by Arleen Rodríguez, that "Patria y Vida" was a "very well structured" song.

Cándido confessed that when he heard the song he thought: "'Damn, how good this is,' but I don't feel like they want to trample on us."ungrateful people who are not able to recognize the truth, that they were made here, they were formed here, they became popular here," he said in reference to artists such as Descemer Bueno, Yotuel and the duo Gente de Zona.

The artist pointed out that if Celia Cruz had sung it it would be something else because "Celia Cruz has nothing to thank the revolution, because the revolution did not make Celia Cruz, but the revolution did make all these ingrates," he said in reference to the interpreters of the song, who did not hesitate to answer him.
