A brand vehiclepepper, blue, caught fire on the Santa Clara ring road, in front of the School of Social Workers.

In the profile ofFacebook Bus and Truck Accidents, a user shared images of the incident. Firefighters had to put out the strong flames.

Witnesses to the accident stated in the comments of the publication thatthere were no fatalities.

Many people were alarmed by the number ofvehicles that are on fire in Cuba and some Internet users claim that "something strange" is happening because it is not common for so many accidents of this type to occur in recent times.

"But what is happening with so many vehicles on fire? Could it be the fuels?", one user asked and another person responded: "No, it's because of the sparks."

Another user pointed out that soon Cubans will have to "go out into the streets witha fire extinguisher in the backpack", but someone quickly alerted him that a device of this type costs "37 MLC" in a store in Havana, a fact that indicates why perhaps many people do not have it.

Just two weeks ago aMoskvitch caught fire on a street in Manzanillo, in Granma and firefighters also had to intervene on the scene to put out the flames.

On that occasion, Internet users also commented on the alleged increase in vehicles burned in recent times on Cuban streets and again blamed the poor quality of the fuel that is being sold in the country.

The day before this accident, aaccident on the Havana-Pinar del Río Highway which also caused the fire of two of the cars involved and severe damage to a third.

In April it was also reportedfire of another Lada in Central Havana. It caused a large black smoke and forced a team of firefighters to travel to the scene.
