Sandro Castro Arteaga, the controversial grandson of the late dictator Fidel Castro, shared a video on his Instagram stories this Sunday, showcasing his participation in a "caravan of entrepreneurs" that traveled to Matanzas to deliver aid to those in need.

“Good evening, Cubans, look at the caravan behind us, my people. We are a group of entrepreneurs here to support and empower the people of Matanzas, contributing in any way we can. Let’s keep moving forward, Cuba,” said the young man.

Sandro shared images showing several closed plastic bags in the trunk of the car he was driving, along with what appears to be bottles of soda.

"Right now, it's half past twelve at night," Sandro said as he drove through the outskirts of Matanzas.

A user identified on Facebook as Daniel Abner Ramirez Rodríguez elaborated on the contents of the donation from Cuban "entrepreneurs" and noted that they plan to make the trip again this Monday.

Sandro Castro's post indicating that he was part of the aid delegation comes after images surfaced of him enjoying a concert by reggaeton artist Yomil Hidalgo at his bar last Saturday, alongside his girlfriend, Laura Daniela Álvarez, while the Cuban people were reeling from the tragedy in Matanzas.

"This is the height of shamelessness and cynicism," declared activist Norges Rodríguez, who shared Castro's post on Twitter regarding his alleged assistance.

"What kind of show is this? This is truly mocking the people"; "So, a caravan of entrepreneurs, can someone please explain the trade of this supposed entrepreneur"; "What a bold fool this guy is, entrepreneur or grandson of a thief?" commented several outraged internet users on social media.

Sandro Castro, who also manages the Havana nightclubs EFE Bar, Fantaxy, and Espacio, is often criticized for showcasing a lavish lifestyle on social media that contrasts sharply with the many hardships faced by Cubans.
