A plane that took off from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport bound for the city of Miami had to make an emergency landing after hitting a bird.
This is United Airlines Flight 1930, which "shortly after takeoff" at 11:14 a.m. Friday collided with a bird, causing the engine to catch fire and having to return to the runway, an airport spokesperson explained. O'Hare.

A witness identified as Alison Doshens told the local newspaperABC Chicago who was working and felt the roar, looked out the window and could "see that the plane's engine was on fire and the sound coming from it was extremely loud."
"I couldn't get to my phone to record anything because I couldn't stop looking at it, trying to figure out where it was going or where it was coming from. It was pretty scary to watch," she said.
The passengers were transferred to another aircraft andthey arrived in Miami two hours late and a terrifying anecdote to tell.
