Police are looking for fourthieves that merchandise was stolen from a Macy's store in Westland Mall inHialeah valued at almost $500,000.
Authorities indicated that the subjects entered the store early on Saturday, February 11, cut off the alarm and thought they had destroyed the surveillance cameras. However, the police managed to obtain images of the bandits.
The videos show hooded individuals, one of them wearing a mask, entering the establishment.
“Four individuals spent hours breaking all the display cases and stealing nearly half a million dollars in jewelry, perfumes, and colognes.”said Sergeant José Torres in statements to thelocal press
“There is no reason why you should have so many quantities of perfume, colognes and jewelry for a specific person. We assume this will be on sale for Valentine's Day,” added the officer, who promised that the thieves will be caught.
Macy's has offered a $10,000 cash reward in hopes that someone will recognize the robbers.

In another unusual case, in December of last yeara 31-year-old Cuban was arrested as responsible for the theft of items valued at approximately $5,000 in a Burlington store in Hialeah.
That robbery, which occurred on November 25, coinciding with theBlack Friday, went viral on social networks due to the unique way in which the thief left the establishment,dragging the stolen items with both hands.
Most of what was taken from the store were purses, scarves and some pairs of shoes, stolen from different aisles of the establishment.
