A Cuban woman reported a theft of sent packagesthroughCuban Post Officeto his family residing in the Bauta municipality, and stated that in the country they broke the box and sealed it with tape.

The Internet user identified as Dayana Yoder presented this Tuesday inFacebook that a month ago he sent two boxes of 44 pounds each to the Bauta municipality, and this week, when picking them up, his family realized that several products had been stolen and they closed it again with nylon.

"When they opened the boxes, they had taken out two men's sweaters, a pair of jeans, a woman's perfume, two La Llave coffees worth a pound each, a package of bay leaves, five pieces of girl's clothing and a package of chocolates, the latter was for my four-year-old niece who was anxiously awaiting her surprise," the woman said indignantly, blaming the Cuban Post Office company for the theft of the sent merchandise.

Yoder, who alleged that he sacrifices and works hard to be able to send something to his family once every five months and alleviate their crisis, said that this was a lack of ethics on the part of the postal company's staff.

"Correos de Cuba specializes in stealing, they take things out of the boxes and glue them with nylon and everything inside. You are not human, you have no professional ethics. "It's not my fault that they lack coffee or clothes for their daughters," he added.

He also asked that they solve their problems in another way and not by robbing the people themselves, and called them "brazen" and "thieves."

The photos inserted in his post showed the boxes broken and taped back together.

Dozens of forum members expressed their annoyance over such an event and many shared similar experiences, where they were victims of theft of products in their shipments to Cuba.

"It's a total lack of respect, they don't care about anything, not the health of the sick, not the hope of a child, not the situation of the family members, they don't care about anything, just stealing and stealing and to make matters worse, this publication is posted on the group of rafters from cuba because my intention is that no one else is harmed by theCuban Post Office thieves and Customs and now a lady wrote to us that they took some of the things she had from her box and put stones in it to compensate for the weight," Yoder declared in response to a comment.

Cuban companies that manage parcels frequently receive criticism for delaysin service andparcel thefts. However, some continue to expand their reach.
