A total of 45 pairs of students from the Camilo Cienfuegos military school in Villa Clara celebrated a collective 15-year celebration this Thursday in tribute to the guerrilla Ernesto (Che) Guevara.

With a triumphalist tone, the local newspaperCuban Vanguard announced inFacebook that the young people - apparently 90 who made up the 45 couples - "went in a caravan to pay tribute to the Heroic Guerrilla, Commander Ernesto Guevara and his reinforcement detachment, with the commitment that the young people will not fail our Revolution."

Dozens of photos served as testimony to the act that has already become common in "Camilite" schools.

Couples parades, waltz dancing and very colorful dresses were captured in the gallery of images inserted in the post where in many of the snapshots the couples appear alongside the military professors of the institution.

Yellow, green, red, white, purple dresses, and the entire color palette appeared at the gala, where young people celebrated the end of adolescence by dancing in the middle of the square of a military school.

These anachronistic collective fifteenth parties have been the subject of the most diverse comments in recent months, when the official press echoed several of these shows that in some cases, in addition to the floral offerings as a tribute to historical figures, have included up to Quirine ride through the city.

At the end of March, around thirty young people held asimilar partyat the Camilo Cienfuegos Military School in Ciego de Ávila.

At the extravagant party, in contrast to the elegant dresses and much glamor of the young women, the men danced with their partners wearing their military uniform and in full view of the entire team that was witnessing the activity.

In Bayamo, in the same way,39 students from the Camilo Cienfuegos military school in that city of Granma celebrated their fifteenth gala in tribute to the guerrilla Celia Sánchez Manduley, which shows that these collective birthdays have returned to the ring.

On that occasion, the so-called Camilitas danced a waltz accompanied by their partners in the school square dedicated to someone who was an assistant to the dictator Fidel Castro and died in 1980.
