Chocolate MC arrested in Tampa: “These are bargain things”

Data collected in the arrest police file indicate that the King of Delivery Workers was arrested on Saturday afternoon for possession of marijuana, carrying firearms and non-violent resistance to authority.

Among the charges against him, El Choco (as he is popularly known) would be responsible for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, carrying a concealed firearm and resisting authority without violence.

“These are bargain things,” said the reggaeton singer from inside the police vehicle in a video recorded by a relative of his, in which the Cuban musician alluded to an alleged denunciation by his rivals. El Choco did not clarify who he was referring to.

Born on February 17, 1991 in Havana, the King of Delivery Workers (as he is also known) has a striking record of arrests since he made the decision to stay in the United States in April 2017.

In the middle of last March,the singer was arrested in Miami-Dade on an out-of-county warrant, and was later released on bond. Previously, the deliveryman had reported a summons from the Doral Police, and accused his compatriot of this.The Taiger.

In a direct message he made on his Instagram profile, he assured that the summons was the result of a complaint made to him by the other Cuban reggaeton player. "Taiger accused me, publicly, in papers," he said in his broadcast, captured and shared by user Un Martí to durako.

Just a month earlier, Chocolate was releasedafter being arrested for a traffic violation committed on his birthday, February 17. That day he tried to escape from the traffic police, which is why he faced two charges: one for driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license, and another for fleeing to evade arrest.

In October of last year, Chocolate MC,was arrested by Tampa police for driving with his driver's license expired and for attempting to elude authorities.

Official records from Hillsborough County in Tampa indicated at least five charges against the singer, including driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license and fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer.

In 2021, the reggaeton playerHe was arrested for a serious domestic crime of strangulation and aggravated assault causing bodily harm., for a case related to his ex-partnerCynthia Cortés, who denounced the singer in 2017. Chocolate MC managed to get out of jailafter paying bail of $170,000.

In December 2019, Sierra Hernándezwas arrested in Houston, Texas, after suffering a traffic accident and police officers detected uncontrolled substances in his vehicle.

As reported by theinfluencer Alex Otaola, citing the police record, the reggaeton singer spent days in prison for violating United States Immigration laws.

This Saturday, the King of Delivery WorkersHe managed to get out of jail in Tampa after paying $3,000 bail for the charges against him. At the time of writing this note, the artist has not referred to what happened publicly.
