Without respect for the freedom of expression of millions of Cubans who live in liberal democracies, the regime invites that “community” in which they only see useful fools who help them legitimize their exclusive and repressive policies, they see uncritical issuers of dollars, declaimers of the “army of white coats” and mourners against the “list of countries sponsoring terrorism.”

The defense of "national development" that Havana calls for is that of "economic ordering", which is perfectible and achievable, according to the Minister of EconomyAlejandro Gil Fernandez.
