The Cuban regime announced this Tuesday, June 13, the celebration of theIV Conference “The Nation and Emigration”, which will take place in Havana between November 18 and 19, 2023.

“We call for the IV Conference 'The Nation and Emigration', on November 18 and 19, 2023, in Havana. We continue to strengthen dialogue and ties with Cubans residing abroad. United for the Homeland, in defense of our sovereignty and for national development,” the chancellor said on Twitter.Bruno Rodriguez Grill.

In a video shared by this social network, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba stated that the meeting is “an expression of the Government's unequivocal will to continue deepening ties and dialogue with Cuban citizens abroad, in defense of our sovereignty. and for national development.”

With the dictator's wordsFidel Castro, the chancellor stated that "the Community must be respected, the Community exists, the Community is a force and the Community is taken into account."

Expressed in 1978 following a meeting with 75 representatives of emigration in the United States and other countries, the words of the historical person responsible for the exodus of millions of Cubans after his arrival to power in 1959 continue to encourage the call for an official event that does not address the true causes and effects of the drama of Cuban migration.

Invited to defend the “sovereignty” and “national development” of a country captured for more than 60 years by a single-party totalitarian regime, the Cuban emigrants that Havana wants to welcome are those who do not question the legitimacy of the power of a dictatorship that has handed over sovereignty to the Russian oligarchy, as it did before the Soviet Union.

The emigrants who attend the meeting must agree with the theses of the regime, which blames the "blockade" for the disaster of a communist economy to which it still clings trying to "perfect the socialist enterprise"; a regime that does not release the productive forces and that makes a simulation of opening with the creation of MSMEs that they control, and that contribute to weaving a clientelist network with its back to the needs of the population.

Without respect for the freedom of expression of millions of Cubans who live in liberal democracies, the regime invites that “community” in which they only see useful fools who help them legitimize their exclusive and repressive policies, they see uncritical issuers of dollars, declaimers of the “army of white coats” and mourners against the “list of countries sponsoring terrorism.”

The defense of "national development" that Havana calls for is that of "economic ordering", which is perfectible and achievable, according to the Minister of EconomyAlejandro Gil Fernandez. It is the defense that more than 70 percent of the national wealth is in the hands ofGAESA, or that more is invested in the tourism sector than in health and agriculture combined.

If in Cuba there is uncontrolled inflation, acute shortages of basic necessities, hunger, poverty and inequality on the rise, hospitals in ruins, lack of medicines, blackouts, very poor public services, fuel crisis, wave of violence and crime... All of this It is the fault of the “blockade,” the regime will say to its guests and they will agree, and will be ready to collaborate to reverse this “injustice.”

Those Cubans who see in the regime the cause of national underdevelopment and spiritual and material misery; those Cubans who see the alliances of the Palace of the Revolution as the greatest threat to the sovereignty of the nation; Those, as is already known, those are not Cubans, they are fascists, haters and worms, and Rodríguez Parrilla and his clique are not invited, he keeps them on the side of the “enemies”, he excludes them, but he opens the door to them. Send dollars to your family.

“Let this meeting serve as a favorable space to debate and work together for independence, full freedom and the well-being of the country,” said the chancellor, keeping silent about the underlying strategy, which is none other than clinging to power.

This IV ConferenceIt was initially called in December 2019, butwas suspended with the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic. Its predecessors were those carried out in 1994, 1995 and 2004, in Havana, in which immigration measures and care for the Cuban community residing abroad were agreed upon.
