The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba (MINREX) is responsible for the international relations of the Government of Cuba. The Council of State appoints the minister as well as the six vice ministers who are in charge of the various departments within it. The mansion that serves as the headquarters of MINREX was owned by the Gómez-Mena family.
