Cuban citizens denounced apouring of residual honey made by the state-owned company Cuba Ron (former factoryArechabal) in Playa Larga, in the Matanzas municipality of Cárdenas.

"There you have new photos from today, of the dumping or spilling of residual honey carried out a few days ago by Cuba Ron S.A. in Playa Larga, municipality of Cárdenas, Matanzas. The woman, in her complaint, questioned whether this was the decision to get rid of the molasses discarded in the rum factory, when it is the only beach that Cardenas residents can go to.

"At this point he asked me, what is happening to us human beings who have souls, hearts, consciences and everything so sick, do we not realize the damage we are doing to ourselves? We are all interconnected, we are all one" , wrote.

This is not the first time that the danger of dumping waste from the rum distillation company in the beach area has been warned.

A few days ago the same Internet user reported the situation on social networks and dozens of Cardenenses agreed that it was a common practice.

"That's why the beach doesn't improve and then the environmentalists act like they've been doing it for so many years," said a user who also pointed out that it is "the best bit of Playa Larga."

"A few days ago I was there and saw it. I mentioned it to my husband and we thought it was something accidental. With so many years that have had to pass for that beach to look clean, I would like to know whose brilliant idea it is," she said. someone else.

Others lamented thepollutionand neglect of that beach, the only option for the inhabitants of the municipality, when getting to the resort of Varadero has become practically impossible due to high transportation prices.
