The United States Coast Guard (USCG) This Tuesday, it repatriated 54 Cuban rafters who were detained off the coast of Florida in the last week.

A statement from that entity posted on Twitter states that the island migrants as well as 89 people from Haiti were intercepted in three maritime operations.

Haitians were also returned to their country.

On July 9, the Cuban regime recognized that so far this year more than 4,000 migrants of the island have been deported from different countries in the area.

These deportation operations, which are added to the emergency measures applied by the Joe Biden administration to control the uncontrolled flow of Cuban immigrants along the southern border of the United States and the coasts of Florida, show that the Cuban migration crisis is far away. to be resolved.

Also in June, irregular migrants arrived in Cuba from the Cayman Islands, a country that has deported more than 80 Cubans so far this year.

At the beginning of that month, the government of that country returned seven rafters and then at the end of the month another five Cubans who left through country's sea route.
