Seven injured after spectacular train-truck crash in Florida

An Amtrak train partially derailed while passing through Florida and collided with a semi-trailer, leaving seven people injured.

According to authorities, the accident occurred this Friday in Lakeland (Florida); The Amtrak passenger train was traveling from Miami to New York when it collided with a freight truck that was stopped on the tracks at a railroad crossing, reported NBC Miami.

Lakeland Fire Department Battalion Chief Jason Busby said 163 passengers and 10 crew members were aboard the locomotive at the time of the crash and two people were in the semi-trailer.
