The United States Coast Guard returned to Cuba 12 people who were intercepted at maritime points on the American coasts.
As reported by the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) on its Twitter account, the twelve people had left the country illegally and were intercepted at sea.
The US Coast Guard repatriated them to the country this Sunday and with this operation there are 99 returns with 4,261 irregular migrants so far in 2023.
