Two elderly Cubans in Miami, at least one of them recently arrived, gave a lesson in good attitude towards thejob after stating that every day they go out into the streets ready to do their thing and do it well.
“Punching, working like a horse”, answered an 80-year-old man who works in swimming pool maintenance, after being questioned by thetiktoker Dairon Cano on how he was doing in the United States.
Cano argued that his father, 49 years old and living in Havana, in the Lawton neighborhood, wanted to go to the United States. Those interviewed considered that age to be the ideal age to start again.
“Tell him that I came nine months ago and I'm 60.Tell him that here when he gets up in the morning and eats a ham and cheese omelette and drinks a glass of milk with cereal, what comes out onto the street is a lion. Let him come here and don't be afraid.", the newly arrived sixty-year-old happily advised.
These statements of good attitude and willingness to work come after a few weeks ago a video went viral in which a young Amazon delivery driver, also of Cuban origin, was seenrefused to carry a 40-pound package to the third floor claiming that it was too heavy and too hot.
The comments were immediate and some users reminded the Cuban that this was his job and he could be fired if he continued with that attitude.
Days later, a Cuban employee of the FedEx company in the United States gave a lesson to the young Amazon delivery driver and He showed how he carried two boxes weighing about 35 pounds on his shoulders. and by stairs to a third floor.
"When the client pays for a service, the service has to be completed by the driver or whoever. You can't be afraid of work. That's how you work in the United States, daddy, when the client pays you have to do the service as it is," concluded the delivery man after giving his colleague a lesson.
