The incident occurred in Santa Clara, on a stretch of the Maleza to Sagua la Grande highway, but the author said he did not know the details; however, the images infer the violent impact between the quadruped and the truck.

In the comments, people were concerned about the health of the cart driver, information that was not provided. One of the photos shows the presence of the police at the scene of theaccident.

Users lamented the death of the horse, but also drew attention to the increase in accidents in which carts, cars or steering wheels are involved, generally because their drivers do not use light signals to warn of their presence.

“Accidents continue with animal-drawn transport. “They will have to make a rule for the movement of horses on the roads,” considered one man.

Another made an extensive reflection regarding the accident: “Poor animal, because of the irresponsibility of its drivers. "They don't respect traffic laws and to make matters worse they show off good looks and everything as if they had a license to ride that."

“There is no law that penalizes these offenders, now it is customary to walk around with a flashlight in those things late at night or in the early morning. I remember that before you couldn't ride the 'spiders' (carts) without a fuel lantern in the back. Now none of that is respected and the police do not take action,” he considered.

“What a shame about the horse, poor animal. But those who drive them are more poorly understood than the animals themselves," he said, while regretting that these events occur daily and "there is no application of the law to the maximum."

The day before, thecollision between a bus and a truck on a bridge over the Damují River, in Cienfuegos, sent three members of a family to the hospital with injuries and left the horse badly injured.

A week ago, a steering wheel was involved in a triple crash on the Central Highway, in the province of Holguín, whereA 16-year-old teenager lost his life.
