Inter Miami announced this Friday a tribute to Lionel Messi to commemorate the eighth Ballon d'Or of his sporting career.
In a publication on their X profile, the team management said that they will celebrate a "Golden Night" to celebrate the best footballer of the year next Friday, November 10; and invited Inter fans to attend the event.
"We will commemorate Messi's historic eighth Ballon d'Or with a night full of festivities that will include a friendly match against New York City FC and an after-party" by the Bresh company.
Inter currently has no official matches because it was out of the Play Off in the MLS.
However, the day before they gave a warm welcome to the 36 year old player, after he received his eighth Ballon d'Or in Paris four days ago.
"Welcome home, winner," was the message shared by the sports team on the social network
On the field of the Florida Blue Training Center, home of Inter Miami, a huge eight was visible. Las Garzas also shared a video in which they make a pass at the Argentine soccer star.
