Adolis Garcia wins the 2023 Gold Glove

The player feels happy after winning his first Gold Glove in Professional Baseball in the United States.


The Cuban slugger,Adolis Garcia (30 years old), won this Sunday the prestigious2023 Gold Glove Award in the United States Major League Baseball, the highest recognition as a defensive player.

In this season García stood out for his excellent batting,he left eight home runs and 22 RBIs, but he also excelled with his defensive performance on the World Series champion team, theTexas Rangers.

He stood out for hisfielding skills and his impressive arm cannon who averaged 93 mph on shots from right field, which allowed him to make 11 assists for outs.

The2023 Gold Glove Awards were characterized by the distinction of 13 first-time winners, marking the second largest number of awards granted since this prestigious distinction was created in 1957.
