Private transporters stated that the new prices are unsustainable for them, that they have the same difficulties as other Cubans in satisfying their basic needs, and must buy at high prices the fuel and spare parts that the state does not sell.

The imposition of new prices It was also applied in other provinces, such as Matanzas and Cienfuegos.
